Nintendo re-applied a new trademark for The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes

According to comicbook, Nintendo may have inadvertently revealed the return of a Zelda game that is now 11 years old.

If you were still playing a 3DS in 2015 and were a fan of The Legend of Zelda, you probably played The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes. This was a 3DS game developed by Nintendo and Grezzo, and since then, the game has been largely forgotten—but now, things seem to be changing.

It has been reported that Nintendo recently re-applied for a new trademark for “The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes “. This move happens to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the “Legend of Zelda” series in 2026.

In this timing, it’s highly possible that Nintendo will announce this game in 2026. And if it now comes to Switch 2, I believe it would definitely bring back a large number of Zelda fans, prompting them to buy the new NS2 console.
