Monster Hunter Wilds is going to Switch 2 platform

Till today, the famous Capcom RPG game Monster Hunter Wilds is still not release on Nintendo Switch. While, this may change in the coming year.

Recently, a Reddit user STRCoolerSimp datamine the 4th update patch of the game, in the game source code, it mentions something about “Nintendo Switch 2”. Some letters e.g. NSW2 is highly for Nitendo Switch 2.

It seems that the Nintendo Switch 2 will eventually get a Monster Hunter game, but whether it’s Wilds or other MH games, remains to be seen.

After the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds, many people are doubt whether the game can be run on Nintendo platform, the reason is that even in PlayStation 5 and Xbox Seriels, the game performance is still not stable enough.

Capcom President Haruhiro Tsujimoto previously stated that the high price of the PS5 in Japan slowed down the game’s sale, while he highly praised the success of Nintendo 2 in Japan. From this point of view, Capcom has enough motivation to carry the game to Switch 2.
